This guide contains all the useful information about the current search for artifacts: the location, cycles of their appearance, methods for their obtaining, etc. I think that even a seasoned stalker can learn something new from it.
Each hunt for artefacts starts with preparation. You must repair your vest, you should get armor with protection from anomalies (at the start advised armor is Flora eventually get Eel or Pachka), don't forget your weapons, restock ammunition so you have at least 150-250 and get 15-20 complete sets of first-aid kits. Also, it would be nice to have a couple repair kits, to fix the rapid deterioration of clothing.

Get ready to roll, you need to find yourself field of anomalies, in them you can find most of artifacts. First thing you should do is looking at the clock, artifacts have a cycle of respawn. Earlier the cycle was from thirty to forty minutes, which was extremely interesting. Getting in touch with friends on Teamspeak, simultaneously calculating the time of respawn of artifacts, hotly debated, argued, there was even own terminology. Now all this is forgotten and not needed, because the developers have introduced a cycle of respawn and life of artifacts. Artifacts now begin to spawn at **.00-**.05 and end at **.40, then you have 20 minutes to convey the collected artifacts the merchant. So, remember:
Since the beginning of an hour to 40 minutes -respawn.
After 40th minute - anomalies are empty.
Now that cycles are dealt with. We look at the clock - if time is appropriate, you have to find an anomalies. But where to go? On bottom of this article are links to approximate maps of anomalies in Lyubech and Vesuvius. Choose the most convenient route, crossing the fields as much as possible, and go collecting.
There are two types of anomalies: the visible and invisible. To see all the atmospheric and mental anomaly (Anther, trampoline, pseudo, chehotka), the invisible everyone else (spark, electrum, frying, microwave, pudding). Invisible anomalies are visualized when hit by a stone, so that we pass a field, scattering around boulders in order to avoid being stepped "which need not."
The only way to search for artifacts now is going between anomalies getting pretty close to artifacts. It is best going with MGD on and holding ctrl (it is easiest to make macro pressing ctrl for 1 sec and then releasing it that is repeating itself and that you can turn off by pressing same button) since you can see artefacts on MGD that you would miss normally.

So you found your first artifact, but how to get it? Ofcourse, there are special tools for this (Magnetic Grip Device).
There is enough information in article linked above to get you started, but you still should know what waits for you on the field. Next is a list of anomalies in game:

1. Anther (crusher).
Image

The atmospheric anomaly. It consists of the wind "bundle" and emanating "pillar" up from within which has stones and boards in it. Anomaly is highly dangerous, crushes any stalker, ignoring any armor (and, therefore, breaks it). Many times per second, dealing damage in a lot of negative ways that kills the character. There is only one way to withdraw the artifact from it - to stabilize. We find the artifact "Stabilizer" in the pseudo (see below) and safely climb into the anther. The damage from it is reduced to 29 per second over the entire area of anomaly, which immediately makes it a toy.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Shield
-Screen
-Stabiliser
-Pillow

2. Psevdo (psevdo anther).
Image

Appear to be very similar to the anther, but has other trajectory. In the anther, in the "column" the board rotate smoothly in a circle centered on the axis, starting from the middle of the anomaly and in the sky. At the same pseudo-randomly rotate the board. In contrast to the anther, the pseudo causes less damage (30 to 100), growing evenly from edge to center, and the effect depends on the type of armor (the higher the level of protection of the melee, the weaker damage) and accordingly, the passage of pseudo negative impact the state of the reservation. Attention, the stabilizer does not weaken the damage of pseudo!

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Shield
-Screen
-Stabiliser
-Pillow

3. Springboard.

The third air anomaly is different from the pseudo, it lacks pillar of dust in the middle. You can only get in it at a time when she calms down (stops aggressively rotating the board), or it will toss you somewhere into the stratosphere. After landing, you will inevitably turn into something similar to a flattened pulp. There is also a way of passage through by using of a server error (not advised). Boldly rush into the anomaly, take artifact, and when the ground is 5 m away, go to the main menu. Go into the game again and you will not fall from 50 metres but from 5 which will not result in getting damage(not tested in never versions of game).

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Shield
-Screen
-Stabiliser
-Pillow

4. Spark (Elektra, passive electrical).
Image

This anomaly is very beautiful, her appearance in the screenshot. Deals moderate damage every few seconds. Low security of electricity makes you immune to it. If you go for the artifacts between damages, you should use the following method: throw a stone at her, from that Elektra is triggered, you can then quickly pass through the anomaly, picking up artifact. 99% of times it does not hurt you.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Screen
-Stabiliser

5. Microwave.
Image

Be careful, the range of this anomaly is approximately 1.5 meters longer than it seems, you cannot take artifacts from it with MGD. The easiest way to get arts from this anomaly is getting good infrared protection. It is possible to take artifacts from this anomaly without being hit, but you won't last 2 hits, most of times you won't last 1 hit. Need to rush to the anomaly exactly at the moment when its center explode with a ball of fire. In this case, you have the most chances of coming out alive, but those explosions don't seem to be regular.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Screen

6. Active electra.

If you see her, make sure to know that unlike Sparks Elektra has a blue aura, it strikes 10 times more often, and the area is three times bigger. Even though it seems to be big, you still can get a little closer to center, but be careful, best to practice for yourself how close you can get. It is very dangerous, not discharged, it will hit you 2-3 times per passage. Best get special protection.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Screen
-Stabiliser

7. Fryer.
Image

It causes infrared damage. It makes relatively low damage, but be careful, if you pass through it to save batteries you can lose a lot of durability on your armor.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Screen

8. Gas cloud.
Image

It causes biological damage. It makes relatively low damage, but be careful, if you pass through it to save batteries you can lose a lot of durability on your armor and you can get effect described in next point and die or take even more damage.

Artifacts you can find in it:
-Rubber
-Screen

9. Chehotka.
Probably all have noticed that sometimes character for no apparent reason bends down. In fact, this effect of mental anomaly, which is triggered once every 9 seconds and makes pressure on your brain. Radius is quite big (8ft). Does not generate artifacts and does not damage you. Harmfull only in combination with other anomalies. For example, when you come into anther, and you suddenly bend to the ground for 5 seconds! If your character has just got this effect, and you've seen artifact in anomaly, do not be in a hurry to get him. Stop and count to ten. If it happens again immediately collect the artifact. If not, you don't need to hurry - you have gone out of range of impact of psy-anomaly.

Well, my friends, so we have collected a pile of artifacts. Now, it is important to bring them to the merchant or stash for crafting. You will find three obstacles on your way:

1. Mutants.
Here what will help you is your skill, hearing and those 250 rounds that you have brought with you.

2. Anomalies.
Even easier. Guided by a map of anomalies, go around the dangerous places.

3. Bandits.
Many people here (and even experienced) hunters for artifacts . In no case shall fight with a bandit. Escape when you have behind two dozen of artifacts, it is not cowardice, but a tactical retreat. Understand that the gunman wearing a PvP-kit is against you in the best case wearing the eel. Odds are visible to the naked eye.

Also, many ignorant person are advised to carry rubbish out of hiding places, trophies from the mutants, a lot of different cartridges in order to reduce the drop of objects when dead. Do not mind a backpack and nonsense. The first drop from inventory are always artifacts. By frequency of loss, the artifacts can be compared only to first aid kit.
After reaching the dealer, be sure to leave yourself artifacts you need for things you want to craft, I assure you, you will not be able to find them when you will need them.
To check what you can make go to Crafting by: NPC or Recipes.
That's all, compassion and success to you, stalkers, good luck.
